Abstract:
Summary: A central challenge in psychiatry and neuroscience is linking brain organisation with individual outcomes in health and disease. This presentation will highlight how large-scale, globally representative datasets and AI-enabled modelling are addressing this gap by generating normative benchmarks and personalised predictions. Applications include individualised assessments of ageing, clinical subtype stratification, and identifying risk and resilience in mental disorders. The talk will also explore how integration with population cohorts reveals the impact of social and environmental factors on brain development, supporting clinically meaningful insights to guide prevention and advance precision mental healthcare.
