Abstract:
Heritability analysis have revealed from large GWAS data that many complex traits including common psychiatric disorders are highly polygenic, whilst the shared hereditary basis, gene pleiotropy spectrum and causal network across multiple phenotypes are being profiled by popular genetic correlation analysis and Mendelian Randomization. We will make a brief journey through the powerful statistical genetics toolkit developed for uncovering how genome affect a large number of interacting phenotypes.
