Abstract:
HD-tDCS has great potential as a new treatment option for depression based on its effects on neural plasticity and enhancement of serotonin and cognitive function. A previous meta-analysis suggested the effectiveness and tolerability in patients with depression, despite the conflicting results. The efficacy of HD-tDCS in patients with LLD remains unknown due to the scarcity of research.
