Prediction of psychosis conversion from at-risk mental state

This is a prospective 2.5-year follow-up study investigating prediction model for psychosis conversion among 132 helping-seeking individuals presenting with at-risk mental state for psychosis (ARMS). Our results indicated that 18.9% of ARMS cohort converted to full-blown psychotic disorder, and prediction model (AUC of 79%), including age, attenuated symptom severity, functioning and comorbid psychiatric conditions, yielded satisfactory performance in differentiating those at particularly high-risk from other subgroups (intermediate and low risk classes) in psychosis transition.
