Recent genetics findings in depression: implications on biological mechanisms

Recent GWAS of depression suggest involvement of immune, neurotransmitter, stress, neurodevelopment, neuroplasticity, neurodegeneration, and other pathways. We propose study of the role in depression of one of the genes identified in these studies.
