Using molecular genetic data to estimate heritability and co-heritability of psychiatric disorders

Classical genetic studies suggest that genetic contribution carries a substantial risk burden among factors contribute to psychiatric disorders. In this presentation, I will introduce methods of measuring genetic contributions using molecular genetic technology on unrelated individuals, and show how it is related to those from family records in psychiatric disorders.
